An officer was conducting a traffic stop when he heard the shots. Another officer spotted the suspects on Bennington near Irvington and they took off.
Both men were arrested after a short chase. The driver is charged with felony evading and the passenger is charged with deadly conduct.
Investigators say the vehicle matched the description of one used in robberies earlier last night.
