The Harris County Sheriff's Office got the call from Hooks Airport near Tomball just minutes before noon. Authorities say the pilot somehow lost control during the touch-and-go maneuvers and the plane ran off the runway and went into the trees, where it came to a stop nose down.
The pilot is said to have suffered minimal injuries.
