$5,000 reward offered by Houston SPCA for information in cat burning case

HOUSTON

Rescuers picked up the cat they're calling 'Amiliea' along Dewalt Street in north Houston.

They say someone may have intentionally set her on fire, burning her back, head and ears.

"The next few days to weeks are going to be very dynamic in terms of how these wounds are gonna heal and how aggressive we need to be with surgery and repairs on them," said Dr. Victoria Cole with the Houston SPCA.

The SPCA says if you saw anything suspicious to give them a call. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person behind this horrible crime.
