Reserve deputy arrested after traffic stop in Conroe

CONROE, TX

According to the Conroe Police Department, one of their officers was on his way to work when Harris County Pct. 6 Reserve Deputy Constable Albert Zamora tried to pull him over. The Conroe officer said Zamora then struck his car with his hand and damaged it.

The officer called Conroe police for backup, and Zamora was stopped for traffic violations. Conroe police say Zamora was uncooperative, belligerent and refused to hand over his driver's license upon request.

Zamora was eventually arrested and charged with failure to display his driver's license and criminal mischief.

The Harris County Pct. 6 Constable's Office confirmed that Zamora is an employee there.

Conroe police earlier this year, they had received complaints about an out-of-county motorcycle officer making traffic stops within their city limits.
