Man charged in shooting of 3-year-old boy in NW Harris County

HOUSTON

Tristan Bell, 3, was shot at a home on Cypress Gully and Cypress Prairie early Tuesday morning. Witnesses say the shot was fired from a car that quickly drove off. Neighbors believed the shooting was part of an ongoing feud.

Izacc Elijah Williams, 20, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault/discharging a firearm into a habitation. Williams was arrested without incident by members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force after information was received of his whereabouts. He was held on $100,000 bond.

Court documents show that a witness described an ongoing domestic dispute leading up to the shooting.

Tristan reportedly suffered internal injuries, including the loss of a kidney, and may be paralyzed due to the bullet hitting his spine.
