DeAndre Hopkins continues to impress in camp

The Houston Texans are just days away from their first preseason game, this Friday against Minnesota. The team continues to work hard to prepare.

It's day 11 for the Texans, but there's not stop or letdown for the players. They're beginning to get amped up for Friday's pre-season opener at the Vikings, a game you can see on ABC13.

It will be our first chance to see the new Texans in game action and everyone wants to see what rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins can do against another team. He has impressed in camp with one-handed catches just about every day.

And now the receiver with huge hands is ooking forward to Friday's game.

"It's a dream come true, but I'm not really worried about that. The first day I got here, all the dreams and stuff went out the window," said Hopkins. "Of course, I'll be amped up. It's my first NFL game. If I'm not amped up, something's wrong."

Tomorrow, we'll find out from head coach Gary Kubiak how much the starters will play; likely a series or two and then it'll be turned over to the young players for their chance to win roster spots.
