Police were called out to a home on Willbriar at McCullom. They say a man showed up at the home and argued with the woman.
He reportedly shot her and then turned to gun on himself. He was killed.
A neighbor says the woman usually kept to herself, but there weren't signs of trouble before this morning.
"I was asleep and I heard two gunshots, which woke me up," said neighbor Pat Babers. "I woke up in a panic, did not know what was going on."
Houston police are investigating. The man was 40 and the woman is 39.
