The fire started in a bedroom of the home on Meadowchase near Torrey Vista late last night. The homeowner walked into the house to discover it was full of smoke, rushed upstairs to make sure his son wasn't home and then ran back out.
"It started in the bedroom, when I kicked in the bedroom window the carpet and the bed was on fire," said homeowner Timothy Williams.
He called the fire department and crews were able to isolate the fire to that one bedroom. No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
