Dwight Howard has emerged from his meeting with the Lakers with this: 'I can't talk about it. We had a lot of good meetings.'

Mark Cuban and the Mavericks started the day with Howard. The Lakers followed. Reports from LA tell us both Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash attended the meeting with Howard.

Reps from Time-Warner were expected to join the Lakers pitch to offer Howard opportunities in television and media. That begs the question, is Dwight Howard an entertainer or a championship athlete?

Days after a Dallas chain tried to entice Dwight Howard with free chicken fingers for life, Houston has countered with free kolaches, barbecue and calzones. Radio station 1560 organized the offer, and now more restaurants have joined in, promising Howard free pizza and subs, burgers and fries.

And a late addition -- free pest control for his new home.

It's no secret now that Lakers superfan and Academy Award winner Jack Nicholson called Dwight Howard to convince him to stay in LA. On Tuesday, Houston counters with Mayor Annise Parker.

The mayor tweeted, "Hey, @dwighthoward: we have @jharden13, a great economy, exciting city and super rockets fans. What are you waiting for?
