Police have charged two men and a teen in the murder of an elderly man in southwest Houston.

Houston police say 74-year-old Celestino Flores was found beaten to death on June 17 inside his home off Roper Street near the Gulf Freeway. His back door had been broken into and his SUV was missing.

Early Tuesday morning, Alvin police located the alleged getaway vehicle and detained three men they found inside.

On Friday, murder charges were filed against 18-year-old Erick Eduardo Hernandez, 20-year-old Gragary Thomas Flores and a juvenile suspect.

Hernandez and Flores are currently being held by the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office and are awaiting transfer to the Harris County Jail. The underage suspect has been transported to the Harris County Juvenile Probation center.
