There were at least three armed robberies today on FM 1960. The first was at a Comerica Bank, the second at an Ace Cash Express and a third at a Bank of Texas.
The first attempted robbery at the Comerica didn't pan out for the robbers. Investigators say three men tried to follow employees into the bank, but the tellers locked the doors behind them.
The robberies at the Ace and the Bank of Texas happened a few hours later. Investigators have not said whether the same people are responsible.
