At about 7pm Sunday, a 13-year-old girl was shopping with her mother at Melrose clothing store in the 3300 block of Telephone Road. According to Houston police, the girl spotted a man when she went to the dressing room, then noticed he entered the stall next to hers. She told authorities she saw a cell phone underneath the stall, taking photos.
The girl ran out to tell her mother, who then notified a manager. The manager locked the store and called police.
Police say the manager noticed the suspect going through his phone as if to delete photos.
Jose Balderas-Alarcon, 29, has been charged with improper photographer/visual recording.
