There will be no rail service between UH-Downtown station and the Downtown Transit Center at 1900 Main from 8:30pm Friday through 4:30am Tuesday, May 28. METRO shuttle buses will provide transport between the Downtown Transit Center and Franklin Street every 10 minutes of normal service hours on those days.
METRORail from Fannin South to the Downtown Transit Center, including Texas Medical Center and Museum District, is not affected.
Businesses and residences in the area will remain open and accessible.
Rusk traffic is urged to detour north on Travis, east on Texas, south on Fannin, and east on Rusk.
Capitol traffic is urged to detour south on Fannin, west on Walker, north on Travis and west on Capitol.
