It happened just before 9am at the Whitney Bank along Highway 59. Witnesses say the suspect showed a knife and demanded money from the teller. He received an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male weighting between 130 and 150 pounds. He has long slicked black hair and was wearing sunglasses, a yellow polo shirt and blue jeans. Police say he looks to be anywhere from his mid-40s to 60 years old.
