Study: Texas ranked 4th in least foul-mouthed state in US

A mobile advertising firm ranked states based on how much their residents use foul language and it found Texans had the fourth lowest rate of cussing.

People in Washington, Massachusetts, and Arizona have the cleanest mouths. The study was conducted by monitoring some 600,000 phone calls nationwide from every state.

It found Texans cussed once out of every 227 phone calls. It also found men are 66 percent more likely to cuss than women and twice as likely to use a swear word in the morning than in the evening.

So where are the most foul-mouthed Americans? Number one in the country was Ohio, followed by Maryland, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Illinois.
