Comparing photo canvas services

Photo canvases are popular, and you may be thinking of ordering one for Mother's Day.

Julie Bortnick says it's easy to create a photo canvas for mom. So Julie shopped around for quality and value. She chose the same picture of her and her mom and shopped at three different places.

She loved the 8x10" Snapfish canvas for its thickness and the quality of the photo. The total price with tax, shipping and handling, using a 25 percent off coupon code, came out to: $35.70

Next up, another online retailer called Printcopia. Julie ordered another 8x10". The retail website is currently offering 50 percent off their photo canvases for Mother's Day. But Julie says this one was her least favorite canvas. It was half as thick as the Snapfish canvas and she didn't like the way it was wrapped.

Finally Julie gave Walgreens a try. The smallest size you can buy is an 11x14" for $39.99. You can either walk in to a Walgreens and use promo code "easy2do" and get 25 percent off, or you can go to online and use promo code "30hurry" to get 30 percent off the service, with it ready the same day.

The total cost of the Walgreens canvas was $30 plus tax. It was also a bigger size than the other two canvas and it was Julie's favorite because of the felt backing, value and speed of service.
