According to a national survey, it only takes Houstonians an average of 8.3 seconds to date or dismiss a potential partner when browsing profiles.
When asked what profile information makes or breaks a first impression, Houston natives said the profile picture was the most important.
The survey, done by WhatsYourPrice.com, ranked Salt Lake City as the most superficial city in the US, with Portland, Houston, Chicago and Washington DC coming close behind to round out the top 5 . Dallas made the list at 10.
