The 14th Court of Appeals upheld Roderick Fountain's murder conviction. The little boy disappeared in April 2006 and his body has never been found.
The boy's mother says Fountain beat their son. Fountain is serving a 13-year sentence on a federal parole violation and will then serve a life sentence for murder.
