Jason Bouchard is defending himself in this capital murder trial. While cross-examining a state witness Tuesday, Bouchard claimed his actions were justified because he believed his wife was sexually assaulting one of their children.
The couple's children were in the home at the time of the fire, but were not injured.
Bouchard will receive an automatic life sentence if convicted. Closing arguments are expected to begin Wednesday.
