Katherine Alana Gricar is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student at Spring High School. Gricar was a workroom aide at Smith Elementary School when she met the teen's mother and eventually moved into their home to help the teen with school.
Gricar, 24, has since resigned. She is out of jail on $30,000 bond.
If convicted, she faces 2 to 20 years in prison.
