Officers were trying to stop a driver on Hamblen for a traffic violation last night, but he kept on going down Forest Cove Drive. The man drove slowly and at one point, police say someone in the vehicle threw something out the window.
The driver eventually stopped and police arrested three people. No word on what charges they'll face.
Officers are still looking for the object that was thrown out the window.
