Sheriff's deputies had arrested Sjondarien Bland on March 13 for a burglary in north Houston, but somehow Bland was able to run away while handcuffed.
A tip was called into the Crime Stoppers tip line indicating that Bland and other felony suspects could be located on the 12800 block of Discipline. Members of the US Marshal's Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force deployed to the location and took Bland into custody on Monday.
Authorities say another male suspect, who was in possession of two firearms, was arrested for cocaine possession.
