Tom Mixon was 79 years old at the time he was attacked. He was beaten and nearly killed by a man who broke into his home back in 2011.
The suspect, Charles Turner, was arrested shortly after. He's charged with aggravated robbery.
Mixon lost an eye and several teeth.
