A K-9 officer was chasing that Mustang in Greenburgh when he T-boned a car, causing the chain-reaction crash.
One car was hit so hard that it ended up more than 50 feet away.
Everyone involved suffered only minor injuries, and the officer's dog was not hurt.
Police are looking for a blue 1991 Ford Mustang.
They have not said why the driver was being chased in the first place.
