We first learned of the fire burning near Wayside and Griggs just before 4pm this afternoon. From Sky Eye HD, the fire looked to be burning just a few yards away from an abandoned apartment complex.
Within the brush, fire officials say, are several 55-gallon drums under piles of debris. They're trying to determine what's in the drums because the wind is blowing the smoke towards the apartment complex.
At this point, we don't have any details on how the fire started. We also haven't heard of any injuries.
