Two burglary suspects in custody, one sought in north Harris County

HOUSTON

Deputy constables say at around 11am they responded to a residence at Edgewood Place near Valliant Woods in the Stone Forest subdivision and saw three male suspects fleeing the scene.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office says after a short chase, the suspects bailed out of their vehicle. Shortly thereafter, Asst. Chief Mark Herman said one suspect was taken into custody after an altercation with a police dog.

The subdivision was then placed on lockdown. About an hour later, authorities received a report of a suspect jumping a fence. Deputy constables responded and spotted him hiding behind a bush near Chelsea Fair Lane, just northwest of the intersection of Kuykendahl and Spring Cypress. Authorities eventually found that second suspect and took him into custody.

A third suspect is still on the run, but deputy constables say they are suspending the search unless law enforcement gets more information.

We're told the suspects' vehicle, a Chevy Impala, was reported stolen out of Galveston. Electronics and a flatscreen TV were reportedly found in the getaway car.

Trinity Lutheran Church School was put on lock down during the search, but that has been lifted.
