It happened around 7pm at Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park on Wilson Road just north of Atascocita.
According to investigators, the mother, her five hear-old son and two daughters -- ages six and eight – were all struck by the vehicle.
The boy was taken by Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. His mother and sisters were transported by ambulance.
Authorities said the driver stopped at the scene. The investigation continues, and it's unknown whether that person will face charges.
