The accident happened just after 9am on the feeder road of the South Loop at Scott Street.
METRO officials say there were a total of five people on the bus. At least three passengers were taken to Ben Taub Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not known.
There is no word if the big rig driver sustained any injuries. It's unclear whether any citations were given at the scene of the accident.
