A search is underway and officials have taped off a large area. Houston police have brought in dive equipment to assist in the search.
A caller reported a potential drowning, telling police someone in the water had been seen going under.
Police have not confirmed anything, but a woman at the scene told Eyewitness News a friend of hers had watched her boyfriend jump in the water, but he never resurfaced. He's a man in his 30s.
