The fire broke out around 4:30am at the building off Richmond and Fountainview.
Someone passing by the building spotted the fire coming from a clothing store on the second floor and called 911. Firefighters managed to keep the flames contained to that store, but there was also smoke damage to other businesses in the building.
Arson investigators are working to determine what started it.
