Residents in W. Houston apartment complex told to stay indoors following gas line break

Residents of an apartment complex in west Houston are being told to stay indoors following a gas line break this afternoon.

According to fire department officials, a construction crew hit a gas line a little before 5pm while working in the intersection of Bunker Hill and Gaylord.

The intersection is shut down and residents living in the La Renaissance apartments have been told to stay indoors while the gas line is being repaired.

No injuries have been reported. We'll let you know when the all-clear has been given.
