Clark Needham, a PhD candidate at Rice University, is a contestant on the "Millionaire" episode airing Tuesday. Needham, a native of Corpus Christi, went to Texas A&M University for an undergraduate degree and is pursuing a Bioengineering PhD at Rice, studying gene therapy and learning how to use bone marrow to repair cartilage for people with knee issues.

Needham, 27, regularly volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Transportation Committee. He says if he wins big, he would donate money to charity, take his family on a trip and start a business.

Hosted by the Emmy Award-winning Meredith Vieira, "Millionaire" can be seen locally on ABC13 weekdays at 2pm. Tune in Tuesday to root Needham on in his quest to become the next millionaire!
