Motorcyclist dies at Houston hospital after crash on Highway 6

HOUSTON

Houston police say a man was headed northbound on Highway 6 near Westheimer just after 9pm when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The bike jumped a curb and flipped, causing the rider to hit his head on the concrete.

Life Flight took the man to Memorial Hermann Hospital. An investigator with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences tells us he died Sunday.

Officers say he was not wearing a helmet. No other vehicles were involved.
