One person was taken by LifeFlight to an area hospital and authorities with the Waller County Police Department, Prairie View A&M University and DPS are all on the scene.
The Waller County Sheriff's Office initially reported that the shooting happened on campus, but officials with Prairie View A&M University now says it happened nearby. No other details were immediately available.
