The girls from HISD's Welch Middle School took part in the Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day hosted by ExxonMobil. The girls went to downtown Houston and teamed up with engineers to perform experiments.
The students learned about engineering design, biomedical engineering and the science behind everyday products.
