It happened at around 8:45am in the 19000 block of County Road 927C in Alvin. Deputies arrived to find Albert Garcia dead at the scene and another man, Reynaldo Garcia, shot in the leg. Garcia was taken by Pearland EMS to the hospital. At this point, there's no word on his condition.
More law enforcement arrived and found two men hiding in a field a few hundred feet from the scene. They were taken into custody and are being questioned.
The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
