Authorities are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian on Highway 6 and did not stop to help the victim.

Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies say a victim was trying to cross the highway near Addicks Satsuma around 1am when he was struck by a two-door car.

Bystanders performed CPR until first responders arrived. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses identified the car that hit him. Investigators say the driver pulled into a parking lot to inspect the vehicle before driving away.

Deputies say the vehicle was a later 80s-model Toyota Celica or Supra coupe, possibly silver in color. It probably has damage to the front right end. Deputies would like to interview the driver.
