According to investigators, it was around 12:30pm that deputies received a reports of a man being shot on a sidewalk in the 6800 block of Brushmeade Lane.
They victim, identified as Juan Hernandez, 19, was transported to North Cypress Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigators are looking for the shooter. So far, the only description released is that he is an African-American male wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans. He reportedly fled the scene on foot.
