Police say Ali Dehghani, who operates several rental houses in the Houston area, left his home on Monday morning to check some of the houses and do necessary maintenance. When Dehghani did not return home, family members initiated a search at several locations and filed a missing persons report.
On Tuesday morning, family members then arrived at 5425 Malmedy, a vacant rental home Dehghani owns, and found him deceased inside the south side residence. Police say Dehghani, 62, suffered blunt trauma.
According to family members, Dehghani's vehicle was stolen. It's a silver 2006 Honda Accord with Texas license plates THD-306.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
