Prison inmates sue beer companies over no warning labels

BOISE, ID

The men, who do not have an attorney, are suing the Miller brewing company, Anheuser-Busch, Coors and J. Gallo among others. They say alcohol should come with a warning label, saying it is habit forming and addictive.

The inmates claim they started drinking without knowing it could be addictive and that led them to commit crimes and be imprisoned.
