A group of burglars broke into a north Harris County meat market overnight.

It happened at the La Guerrero Meat Market on Aldine Mail Route near Chrisman. Authorities believe four men made a hole to get into into the business.

Officials tell us an alarm went off and when they arrived, they spotted several people on the roof of the business. Deputies say the suspects ran to a nearby neighborhood, but they were able to catch up with them.

A fifth man who was driving around the neighborhood was also arrested. They say that man was possibly a getaway driver, waiting to pick up the suspects.

According to investigators, the store owner saw the robbery through a remote access to his surveillance cameras at home.

"They were in the building. We got them on video and they came out and ran and we captured them," said Sgt. Michael Sieck with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The owners say the burglars did get away with some money. Employees are now cleaning up the big mess left behind.
