The body of the 57-year-old man was found outside a home on Gregory and Wayne at about 7am Tuesday. Police say the victim was helping a woman by letting her stay with him. She brought another man into the home, and there was a confrontation.
"The homeowner was involved in a fight in the driveway where it appears he was bludgeoned with a blunt object and possibly stabbed with a large kitchen knife believed to be taken from the kitchen as well," said Michael Miller, with HPD Homicide.
Police say the man and woman are missing. The only information they have about the couple is that the man's name is Brandon, and the woman's name is Sharonda or Sharona.
