Two suspects are on the run after an early morning burglary at the home of a sleeping elderly woman.

In the early morning hours on Friday the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office met with a homeowner on Millmac Drive in the east Conroe area. The elderly female victim told deputies that while she was sleeping at least two people entered her home through the front door and stole numerous items.

The suspects did not harm the victim but told her to stay quiet and not get up. The suspects left the home and stole the victim's van.

In a separate incident on nearby Dougett Road, a homeowner arrived home and saw a van at his residence. The homeowner saw two suspects leave in the vehicle and gave chase. At the intersection of Dougett and Jeffcote Road, authorities say the homeowner crashed into the back of the van. Two suspects ran from the vehicle and have not been apprehended.

The suspect's vehicle was the van stolen from the home on Millmac Drive. Deputies and investigators with the sheriff's office are following up on leads. The suspects are believed to be white males in their late teens.
