David Ryan Campbell, 20, is charged with Burglary of a Structure, Theft of Firearm and Possession of Marijuana.
Conroe police say they received numerous reports of burglaries in the Highland Hollow and West Ford subdivisions on November 30. They say someone was going into unlocked cars in residents' garages there, taking unsecured valuables.
Police say through an investigation, they determined that Campbell was using some of the stolen credit cards and was selling some of the items that had been reported missing. They say they went to his apartment in Conroe and recovered stolen items, including electronics, computers, guns, jewelry, checks and credit cards.
Campbell has since been arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
