Cyber Monday deals online

We made it through Black Friday, then Small Business Saturday. And now to complete the trifecta of all shopping events, it's Cyber Monday. Almost every online shopping site has a deal. Some are OK, others are a bargain. So we set out to find the best deals you can find without setting foot in a shopping mall.

Memorial City Mall was packed on Black Friday, but that's not the case on Cyber Monday.

"I think a lot of people spend the day in their pajamas relaxing from all the family," shopper Lauren Wright told us.

"It's pretty quiet," Leslie Huang said.

And while Huang doesn't have plans to shop at the mall, she will be shopping online. Her e-mail inbox is full of temptation.

"It almost makes me feel a lot of pressure that I am missing out on deals," she said.

David Pinchotti says after he puts his girls down for a nap, he's ready to shop.

"I didn't shop on Black Friday," he said. "I waited for Cyber Monday."

So what are the best deals online?

At Amazon, we find the Kindle Fire that is normally $159 is on sale for $129 with promo code "firedeal" at checkout. The offer is good for one Kindle per customer.

Also at Amazon, we found hundreds of Blu-ray movies for $9.99 and less.

If you are in the market for clothes, at Gap.com, it's 30 percent off up when you enter "cyber" upon checkout. At the mall, we noticed the store wasn't promoting any major sales.

At the Express store, we noticed some discounts, but at Express.com, the entire site was 40 percent off plus free shipping. At Loft.com, it's half off site-wide. We noticed that same sale was going on at the store as well.

Wright is scoping out the sales at the mall before she heads home to shop. She says she can't find a better deal than the one she found at Amazon .com.

"Forty percent off the Leap Pad for my three-year-old," she said.

At Amazon.com, along with Cyber Monday deals, the site has what they call "lightning deals" -- a limited number of items that are limited in quantity and available within a specific time frame. We also found "gold box deals" for the day. Today's items are up to 60 percent off flat screen TVs.

At Walmart.com, we found the ultimate play kitchen value bundle for $50. The set includes a kitchen and accessories.

Keep in mind, some of the deals are so good they sell out online and most sites do not offer rainchecks.

Also, search for a coupon code. You are going to find you can double dip on the deals on some sites, or at least get free shipping.
