It happened around 7:45am in the 8900 block of Barker Cypress near West Road.
Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies said Joshua Elton Jaco was speeding north in a black 2008 Lincoln Navigator when he failed to stay in his lane.
According to investigators, he left the roadway on the south side and then returned but lost control of his vehicle and slid across both lanes.
Jaco entered the south side ditch were the SUV rolled and flipped onto its roof.
Emergency responders rushed Jaco to Memorial Hermann Hospital via Life Flight, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
This crash remains under investigation.
