A vigil was held Friday night at the church where the man, a pastor for five decades, and those who attended say they are still in shock over the news.
Gathered on the steps of the church Pastor Clements Vincent Dorsey Sr. helped find more than 50 years ago, family and friends pray. The 89-year-old and his 61-year-old daughter, Anne Dorsey Alexander, were found beaten to death in the kitchen of his home on Thursday.
Police say they are now looking for the pastor's 20-year-old grandson, who seen leaving their home shortly after the murders.
Police say the grandson, Cameron Dorsey, was recently released from jail and had moved in with his grandfather. However, he was asked to move out right before the slayings.
Police say he's their only suspect.
People at the vigil also prayed for the grandson on the run.
"We just need something supernatural, just to awaken him to recognize what he's done and to do the right thing after that."
Cameron Dorsey is believed to be possibly be driving his grandfather's vehicle, a gold 2004 Toyota 4Runner, with one of two possible Texas license plates -- 467 WNT or 8DF BW, a handicapped plate.
