Cell phone store targeted by thieves

HOUSTON

They pried open a hinge on the roof-top AC unit at the Fiesta cell phone store on Gessner near Clarewood. They then swung down a rope and made a quick grab of 25 cell phones worth $3,000 to $4,000. They were gone by the time a fire truck was brought in to see if they were still hiding on the roof around 4am.

The store owner says he's been robbed before and fortified all the doors. But now he doesn't know what to do about the roof.

"I fix the back door, very strong but now they come from the roof. I don't know what I do next to fix roof. I'll put something on the top," said store owner Zewar Shah.

Police believe three burglars, two men and one woman, were working together. They all got away.
