Suspect in killing of Iraq war veteran arrested

HOUSTON

In the early morning hours of August 6, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at an apartment complex in the 9000 block of Jones Road in north Harris County. When they arrived, they Alexander Segura, 28, with several gunshot wounds. Segura, an Iraq war veteran, later died from his injuries.

A tip to Crime Stoppers on Thursday led authorities to Keith Dewayne Dillingham. Investigators believe he was involved in Segura's fatal shooting. He was arrested without incident.

The tip caller is now eligible for a reward.
