METRO on Tuesday said the driver, 61-year-old Otis Stewart, will not drive a METRO bus while the agency investigates the collision. That is standard procedure.
The agency says the girl was crossing Bellaire near Cook in west Houston when she was hit by the bus. The teenager was hit by the bus so hard, it cracked the front windshield.
The girl was last listed in critical, but stable condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
